Frank D. Caffaratti, D.D.S.
Born in Oroville, California, Frank Caffaratti moved to Reno as a young man. His father was one of the first physicians in Fallon, Nevada. After graduation from Sparks High School in 1973, Frank Caffaratti attended the University of Nevada Reno where he received his bachelor’s degree in medical science and biology. He subsequently attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, where he received in DDS in 1981. That same year, he returned to Sparks to start his private practice.
Even though his college days are behind him, Dr. Caffaratti continues to study the latest changes and advances in dentistry. He has attended some of the most prominent dental institutions in the country, studying a wide spectrum of cosmetic and restorative specialties. Dr. Caffaratti is a graduate of the prestigious Misch Institute, where he earned his Mastership Degree in Dental Implantology. Dr. Caffaratti is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, the Northern Nevada Dental Association, the International Congress of Implantology, the World Laser Clinical Institute and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also belongs to a variety of study clubs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Caffaratti enjoys spending time with his wife Staci, and his hunting dogs, Anne and JoJo, chasing the elusive chukar that Nevada has to offer. He also likes hunting, fishing, trapshooting, and riding motorcycles. Dr. Caffaratti also enjoys smalltime ranching with his livestock and hay production. He is an Ardent fan and supporter of our local Wolfpack football team.
Marc A. Cirelli, D.M.D
While born in Woodland Hills, CA, Dr. Marc Cirelli truly considers Reno, NV his hometown. His family moved to Reno in 1979. Graduating from Reno High School, he then attended the University of Nevada, Reno majoring in Biochemistry, Spanish and History. Dr. Cirelli continued his education at Oregon Health and Science University. Subsequently, earning his Dental Doctorate degree along with several Rose Awards for Outstanding Patient Service.
Dr. Cirelli joined the practice with Dr. Caffaratti in August of 2010. He brings with him the love of Dentistry and the desire to be your “Family Dentist’ for generations to come. His desire to stay current and on the cutting edge of Dentistry is apparent. Dr. Cirelli continues with his education beyond the scope of what is necessary.
Dr. Cirelli believes in giving back to his community. He volunteered for a number of years for the Nevada Hispanic Services. He studied in Spain to perfect his Spanish and is bilingual. Living in Spain with his extended Spanish family is one of his fondest experiences and memories. Living in the Truckee Meadows allows Dr. Cirelli to enjoy many of his favorite outdoor activities: skiing, hiking, target shooting and landscaping. He is quite the handyman with his giant helper “Andy” a 175 lb Landseer Newfoundland dog. He correlates his highly skilled combination of artistry, carpentry and science with his strong desire to help others with their overall dental health.
Dr. Cirelli is a member of the American Dental Society, Northern Nevada Dental Society, and the Nevada Dental Society. He also served as a delegate for the Northern Nevada Dental Society.
